"We hired Grace to do our Wedding photography, and she was absolutely fantastic!!!
From our first meeting to discuss what we wanted from our photos, to the communication beforehand and leading up to the big days (we had an intimate legal wedding and a second ceremony and party for our extended family and friends!) to the actual performance on the day, Grace was faultless! Relaxed, planned, creative and just brilliant to deal with!
But more then anything the end result has been a collection of the most incredible photos that have captured our wedding perfectly! Grace made us feel like true stars on our wedding day, and every time we look back over our photos! What's more we have left our wedding day feeling really pleased that it was Grace capturing the day, as we truly felt like we had someone there photographing us who we have known for a long time! Thank you Grace!" - Sam
The wedding of Sam and Charley had everyone (including me) smiling from start to finish. The couple’s big day took place at Bury Court Barn in Farnham, Surrey – a dreamy, rustic venue that felt laid-back yet plush. Filled with an abundance of love, happiness, music and bubbles, it was a truly unique day to capture.
Before their wedding day, I met Sam and Charley to chat about their vision for their photos. They wanted pictures that authentically showcased the fun atmosphere of the day, filled with people laughing and having a good time. This fitted perfectly with my style of wedding photography, as my speciality is capturing couples naturally and allowing their personalities and emotions to shine.
Sam and Charley’s wedding day arrived and the sun was shining – yay! As I arrived at the venue, I was taken aback by the lush meadows, wild flowers and rural feel. Charley, the glowing bride, was getting ready with her bridesmaids in one of the barns. Getting all glammed up with their hair and makeup, there was a calm, chilled atmosphere in the air. Drinking bubbly, toasting, doting over each other’s dresses, it was the bridal party of dreams.
Next, the big moment. Sam seeing his bride walking down the aisle for the first time was emotional to say the least. Wiping away his tears, their eyes met and it’s fair to say everyone’s heart melted – moments like these remind me why I became a wedding photographer.
I loved the special touches, like one of Charley’s bridesmaids conducting the marriage ceremony and the couple playing a melodica (a fun blow piano) just after they tied the knot. Instead of confetti, the guests blew bubbles which was so much fun!
People's personalities really come through on camera and Sam and Charley were such a kind, fun and uplifting couple. Full of emotion, happiness, laughter and exceptional details, it was an absolute joy to shoot this stunning wedding.
